Help protect your underbody. Cherokee’s available Skid Plate Group (packaged with the Travel Convenience Group) provides enhanced undercarriage protection over the most rugged terrain.

The Skid Plate Group includes five rugged skid plates:

• Front skid plate – helps protect the radiator and cooling fan
• Front suspension skid plate – protects the front axle, steering gear and engine oil pan
• Transmission skid plate – protects the trans oil pan and valve housing
• Transfer case skid plate (automatic transmission equipped vehicles only) – protects the transfer case from rock strikes and ensures the integrity of the four-wheel-drive system over rough terrain
• Fuel tank skid plate – enhances the performance of the standard fuel tank brush guard
