Jeep Cherokee Sport 3.7L petrol

Jeep Cherokee Sport is powered by the all-new 3.7L SOHC 12V V6 petrol engine with 4-speed automatic transmission.The engine produces a robust 151 kW and 314 N.m of torque at 5,200 rpm and 4,000 rpm respectively, for a generous dose of power at the engine's low end that provides more pull when the going gets tough.

The 3.7L V6 petrol engine in Jeep Cherokee Sport is matched with Selec-Trac II^® active full time 4WD system, which allows for real time "on demand" four-wheel drive capability.

Cherokee's advanced multistage front air bags inflate with a force appropriate to the severity of the impact. Supplemental side curtain airbags provide added protection in the event of a side-impact. In the event of a rear end collision, active head restraints automatically react and move up and forward to help provide protection.
