Jeep Announces National Polo Sponsorship



Naming rights sponsor for key polo events until 2013/14

Melbourne – 8 December 2011; Jeep Australia has announced a wide-ranging, first of its kind sponsorship, securing naming rights to seven key polo events around Australia until 2013/14.

The sponsorship includes naming rights to the Jeep Victorian Polo Club, as well as iconic and growing events around Australia such as; the Jeep Portsea Polo (Victoria), the Jeep Polo in the Valley (WA), the Jeep Kurri Burri Classic Polo Tournament (in NSW), the Jeep Australian Open Polo Championship (Queensland).

The partnership, (fostered by Elite Sports Properties), will see a dynamic Jeep brand presence at eight polo events across four States through branding, hospitality and sponsorship of a Jeep Polo team.

2011 marks the celebration of 70 strong years of Jeep heritage (stemming back to the early 1940s when Jeep was the first 4WD to be driven on Australian terrain). To mark this celebration, Jeep has embarked on a wide-spread ‘Don’t Hold Back’ challenge to revitalise every aspect of its business.
