The 2012 Jeep_® Wrangler Unlimited — a new heart with the same soul.

The new 3.6L Pentastar^® V6 engine delivers 209 kW at 6,350 rpm and 347 N.m of torque at 4,300 rpm, with fuel efficiency up to 11.4 L/100 km (combined) with the manual transmission. On-road presence is dramatically improved and off-road performance even more capable with an increase in torque.

A diesel engine is also available in Wrangler Unlimited. The 2.8-litre Common Rail Direct-Injection turbo diesel produces 147 kW at 3,600 rpm and 410 N.m of torque at 2,200 - 2,600 rpm with the 6-speed manual transmission and 460 N.m of torque at 1,600 - 2,600 rpm with the optional 5-speed automatic transmission.

Prevent Pedal Bobble

Wrangler's Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) system help prevent the "pedal bobble" that often occurs when in 4WD-low mode. ETC's special off-road calibrations help the driver to "feather in" the throttle over uneven terrain, logs and rocks. The difference is night and day.
