The list of Jeep® Wrangler’s safety and security features is as far-reaching as its capabilities. For example, the sport bar uses high-strength steel and is integrated into the B-Pillar that runs into the floor. This improves side-impact performance, vehicle stiffness, torsional rigidity and control at highway speeds.
Safety features include:
- Advanced multistage driver and front-passenger airbags(1)
- Supplemental side seat-mounted airbags(1) for front occupants (Optional)
- Electronic Stability Control (ESC)(2) including Brake Assist, traction control and Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM)
- Body-on-frame construction
- Energy-absorbing steering wheel and column
- Energy-absorbing front rail tips
